A Huge Victory Worth Celebrating
One Decision. Sixty Days. A New Life.
Hi Friends,
I want you to meet Kenneth.
When Kenneth came to Sox Place, he was trying to recover while facing the instability and pressure of life on the streets. Today, he is approaching 60 days sober.
For someone living without stable housing, 60 days is not a small accomplishment. It means choosing recovery while surrounded by stress, temptation, trauma, and uncertainty. It means waking up each day and deciding to keep fighting, even when almost everything around you makes that fight harder.
Kenneth says Sox Place helped connect him with recovery meetings, gave him a place where he did not feel judged, and helped change the direction of his life.
This is the heart of Sox Place.
We cannot make choices for Kenneth, but we can make sure he does not have to make them alone. We can provide a safe place, trusted relationships, recovery connections, encouragement, and a community that continues believing in him.
That is what the No More Dead Street Kids Campaign is about. It is about building a future where more young people like Kenneth have somewhere safe to turn and a real opportunity to move from survival toward recovery and stability.
Please watch Kenneth’s video, celebrate this milestone with him, and consider making a gift today so we can continue creating opportunities for stories like his.
Thank you for standing with Kenneth and every young person who walks through our doors.
