He Thought Sox Place Was a Setup
Now Pablo works here, helping the next kid who walks through the door.
Hey friends,
I want to tell you about Pablo, our newest staff member.
When Pablo first heard about Sox Place, he did not trust it. Somebody tried to bring him here for food and rest, but he was scared. He thought it might be a setup. He was high, hungry, tired, and just trying to survive.
Eventually, Pablo got hungry enough and tired enough to walk through our doors. What he found was simple. Food. Clothes. A place to rest. A place where he did not have to hide. A place where he could just be himself.
That is where change started.
Now Pablo is on the other side of the table. He is not just receiving help anymore. He is helping. He is showing up for kids who are where he used to be. In his own words, helping people helps him too.
That is Sox Place.
This is real life, real people, real relationship, and long-term love. Pablo’s story is what happens when someone is given enough consistency, dignity, and room to believe life can change.
And right now, we need your help to keep doing this.
Your donation helps us feed young people, offer showers, give out clothes, create a place to rest, and build relationships that can turn a scared kid on the street into a staff member helping the next one.
Please make a donation today. Thank you for helping us keep the doors open.
