I don't think I explained this good...

Hi Friends,

When we launched the 2030 Vision, we shared three big priorities for the future of Sox Place. Since then, many of you have reached out with thoughtful questions, and I realized something.

I don't think we explained the vision well enough.

We shared what we wanted to accomplish, but we didn't spend enough time sharing what we're actually dreaming about. The 2030 Vision isn't simply about buying a building, expanding mental health services, or creating jobs. It's about creating opportunities that don't exist today because we simply don't have the space or resources.

Imagine dedicated space where young street kids can learn job skills, earn real income, and begin building a future through our Streets to Stability program. Imagine launching businesses that provide employment opportunities right here at Sox Place, whether that's a screen-printing company, a manufacturing business, automotive services, or something we haven't even dreamed up yet. Imagine private counseling rooms where young people can meet one-on-one with counselors, participate in support groups, and begin healing from trauma in a safe and confidential environment. Imagine expanding our mental and spiritual care while becoming a place that actively combats human trafficking by providing trusted relationships, specialized support, and real alternatives for young people at risk. Imagine having the space to dream bigger, serve more people, and help more young people move from surviving to thriving.

One thing I'd also like to clarify is our building campaign. Some people have assumed that because we announced our desire to purchase our building, we already had the funding in place.

We don't.

We're starting at zero.

Our goal is to raise $333,333 by the end of 2026, and every dollar matters. This campaign isn't about moving to a new location. It's about purchasing the building we've called home for the past 24 years and transforming it into a place where these dreams can become reality. Without your support, they remain dreams. With your support, they become the next chapter of Sox Place.

We'll continue sharing more of the vision over the coming weeks because we want you to know exactly what you're helping build and why it matters.
